fried eggs, sauteed southern greens, and tuscan bread with cherry butter

a simply, lovely dinner. 

we fried up some eggs...mine were easy (i love when the yolks run all over the plate and you can soak up the goodness with toast, or in this case, with the sauteed greens) and david's were hard...he's not so into runny eggs.

we sauteed some southern greens...mustard, collard, and turnip...with a bit of olive oil and several cloves of freshly minced garlic.

and, we toasted some tuscan bread and made some cherry butter to spread on top (soften butter by letting it sit out on the counter for a few hours and mix in plenty of dried cherries).

it was delicious.
