Skagit Valley Tulip Festival

Spring has found its way to Washington!  It is such a lovely time of year here with all of the colors bursting among the lush green grass and the mountains in the background, still dusted with snow.  The weather has, again, been quite warm early which means that the tulips are in full bloom and have been for a few weeks.  Despite the crowds of people, I cannot help but take a day trip up to Skagit Valley to walk among the tulip fields and, of course, snap tons of pictures of the boys during the annual Tulip Festival!

I cannot help but to share some of my favorite photos from this year's trip to see the tulips.  It was Rigby's first visit and Jack seemed like a seasoned pro, yet this year he was the most interested in learning all of the names of each tulip variety.  I also want to share some of my favorite spots to stop when we are in the Skagit Valley, but I will save that for another post, especially since we have one more visit planned up there before we move!

I think we will all miss this view...
